Conservation Framing

The purpose of conservation framing is to protect the artwork being framed from deteriorating over time, (such as foxing (brown spotting)), which can happen over time.  This can be neutralised by using acid free mount boards, tapes and backing boards and a selection of conservation uv filtering glass which helps to prevent harmful sun damage and fading to your artwork.

These types of specialist materials will help conserve your artwork, be it a family heirloom, signed football/rugby shirt or an antique print, so that the item can be enjoyed for years to come and look as good in 10-20 years time as the day that it was framed.
